Rhythm and dynamics

Many of us have never thought about what rhythm is, how it affects a person, how it affects the world around us? Rhythm is a dynamically repetitive process.

Each of us lives at his own rhythm. He wakes up in the morning, drinks coffee or not, eats breakfast or not, goes to work, has lunch, comes home from work in the evening, has dinner, sleeps, someone more, someone less. This is repeated the next day. Next week too. Month after month, until it's time for vacation and rest, but they are repeated next year. The seasons repeat over the years. Everything around us is a rhythm. Noticing this, man invented the clock, discovered the calendar and studied the micro and macro cosmos. He discovered Astronomy and realized that the Sun, the Moon, the near and far planets, the constellations largely determine the rhythm of the human, plant and animal worlds.

This dynamics is most noticeable in plants.

The sun, the rhythm of the day. We can safely call the Earth - the blue planet, this is because the main component is water. It is indispensable for the existence of life on Earth. Water is most affected by the attraction of bodies in the solar system. The earth revolves around its axis for 24 hours - this is the daily rhythm, at the same time the sun causes the movement of sap in plants. This is how the movements of substances from the root to the leaves and vice versa take place. From 00:00 to 12:00 the traffic is ascending - to the aboveground part. The strength of the plant is in the fruit, flower or leaves. Therefore, the morning is the best time to pick fruit. From 12 :00  to  00:00 the traffic is reverse - descending. The strength of the plant is in the root. Then we collect root crops, such as carrots, beets, radishes, etc.

The moon, the lunar rhythm

The moon as a natural satellite of the Earth has the most pronounced influence on the movement of water on Earth. An example of this is the tides. Moon phases:

Descending and Ascending Moon. Once the Moon reaches its highest point in front of the Gemini constellation during its lunar orbit around the Earth, it becomes descending - approaching Earth. The forces and juices of the plant are concentrated in the root, this is the best time for planting, pruning vines and fruit trees. Collection of root crops.

During the Rising Moon, the forces and juices of the plants are concentrated in the aboveground part of the plant. Then cuttings and cuttings are collected, the harvested fruits are stored for the longest time, they are the juiciest and the most fragrant.

Side Moon. In biodynamic agriculture, plants are divided into groups, depending on their fruiting organ, associated with the four earth elements:

  • Water - Leaf, they include leafy fruits such as: lettuce, cabbage, leeks and others;
  • Air - Color: flowers, broccoli and others;
  • Land - Root: root crops - onions, carrots, potatoes, etc.;
  • Fire - Fruit and seed, seed: tomato, cucumber, pepper, fruit and cereals, etc.

During its 27-day orbit around the Earth, the moon passes in front of the 12 zodiacal constellations, transmitting forces to the 4 earth elements and the groups of plants assigned to them. Thus, by planting, cultivating, collecting the plants at the right time, the plants are healthy, well developed and receive only the care they need. This is especially important for plants that we will store for a long time - apples, potatoes, onions. For example, if we harvest onions during the Descending Moon, Root Day, sowing and cultivation are also done on Root Day, we will enjoy a rich harvest, but the qualities of this plant will have the greatest value. We call this Living Food - food for the spiritual and physical body of a person, food that can be used as a remedy.
